Fall 2024 ROC Optional Activity: Wildlife Conservation Center

  •  October 5, 2024
     9:00 am - 2:00 pm

The Alaska Chapter will be organizing an option outing on Saturday, October 5th at 9am to the Wildlife Conservation Center. The Wildlife Conservation Center is an outdoor sanctuary with over 200 acres of animal enclosures and a 1.5 mile loop. Wood bison, brown bears, elk, musk ox, moose, and many other animals get to roam in very large enclosures. The sanctuary is about 50 miles south of Anchorage and the drive to get there is along Turnagain Arm (it is a beautiful drive). The cost is $25 per person (there are military and youth discounts) and will take about 4 hours to complete. Payment will be directly to the center when attendees arrive. We will plan on carpooling/ caravanning there. Lots of scenic pull-offs along the way to check out the views.

We're sorry, but all tickets sales have ended because the event is expired.
